What We Do We do things differently than the average radio company. We have facilities on both coasts, giving us the upper hand in service, shipping and products. We add the personal touch to an otherwise technical business. If you can thinking it up, we can make it happen. We understand that not everyone understands or worries how a radio is put together or programmed. So, we not only help you with programming and understanding; but, we also do installs, repairs, FAQs, Certified Trainings and much much more.
Opportunity: A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a highly motivated Radio Technician who can utilize their experience and training to spearhead maintenance of a vast array of communications equipment. You will perform repairs on many types of two-way radios; from volume knobs to accessory ports. You will need to exhibit great responsibility, skill, and enthusiasm to be a valuable team member. The successful candidates' main station of operations can be in the office of either our Escondido, CA office, our Florida office or from their own facility.
Key Qualifications: • Ability to receive shipped packages of broken radios. • Knowledge and ability to replace knobs, housings, ports, etc. • Occasional collaborate with team members to ensure a proper fix on difficult cases. • Ensure that equipment and devices operate within FCC regulations. • Maintain inventory of related equipment. • Provide reports on technical and operational matters to management.
Ideal Candidate for this position would have: • High School degree or GED. • One year of formal education/extensive training in electronics. • Five years of experience in maintenance of at least two of the following; two-way radio, frequency communications equipment, microwave carrier systems, or data systems. • A current General Radiotelephone Operator License issued by the FCC. • Experience independently performing skilled work installing, maintaining, and repairing sophisticated electronics communication equipment. • A valid driver's license.
Requirements: Candidate must have prior two way radio repair experience, job interview will require you to repair a Motorola XPR6350 Radio.
